There's the ultimate Jayson Blair story/interview in today's Observer, but it's been loading at my computer for twenty minutes -- guess they're getting more traffic than they can handle.
Alright, here's the story. Full of all the braggadacio and maliciousness that lets you understand: this man is no victim, he's just an asshole.
The quote in the headline, and what you'll likely see as one of the main quotes everywhere: "So Jayson Blair Could Live, The Journalist Had to Die". Please. What in the hell does that mean?
