Much will be said about the Op-Ed by CNN's Eason Jordan in today's Times. The fact of the matter is, though, that most of these incidents are situations in which CNN was the reason for torture and killings. The problem was Saddam's regime, but the rat was a news organization that put stories above lives and then failed to report on them in a way that would have saved lives in the future.
