The Daily Aztec joins the Commentator in getting a major donor to withdraw contributions thanks to a column by Len Bell from two weeks ago, declaring that the university should reject Moores' donations due to SEC investigations.(link via Romenesko) Moores' response is a bit much, given that it is really only one student who criticized him, and did a shoddy job of it (at one point, Bell shares this unique piece of wisdom "Also, at this point, Moores is an innocent man until proven guilty -- but the charges against him are unconscionable.") As another aside, check Bell's picture -- doesn't he look at least 40? A tad old for an undergrad?
But Moores is, seemingly, either a bit wacko or profoundly funny, given this past incident:Moores has had his run-ins with the media in the past. After a critical article in The Reader, an alternative weekly newspaper, the reporter received a copy of his story wrapped around a fish. Moores' business card was in its mouth.
